SALEM

(Composer/Lyricist/Playwright) - SALEM tells the tale of a trio of sisters accused as witches in the Salem Witch Trials, as they are held hostage in a church-turned-courtroom for their collective trial by judge, jury, and their Accusers. As the proceedings begin to unravel, allegiances are challenged, alliances are reformed, and secrets are exposed, with mass hysteria festering at the root. Fueled by dark pop melodies and 808 beats, SALEM is a story about the power of sisterhood, empathy, and radical forgiveness in an fear-filled world.

Built For This

(Composer & Lyricist, Book by Lauren Gunderson) - An athletic, feminist, all-femme new pop musical centering five fierce young gymnasts confronting inner demons required for top tier competition, as well as a real-life demon preying on their youth, ambition and vulnerability. Set months before the first news story drops about the abuse of Larry Nassar and USA Women's Gymnastics abandonment of his survivors, this musical lets five of those young women sing their truth as they uncover the biggest sexual assault scandal in sports history. Inspired by the incredible true story about the gymnast survivors that took down their former team doctor for decades of sexual abuse within the Olympic, national, collegiate, and community levels of the gymnastics world.

Revival

(Composer/Lyricist/Playwright) - On the night of her public rejection of God and her faith and hours before she learns her fate, an imprisoned Joan of Arc dives into a fever dream, a reverie, an out-of-body experience, and a psychological pilgrimage back through her memories to discover the exact moment God deserted her, and why? Timelines of Joan's past and present leading to her destiny cut into each other, until timelines converge and collide for a reawakening- a reckoning of who she is, and who she always has been. A revival.

WIDOWS

(Composer/Lyricist; Book by Matthew Greene) - The quaint, suburban community of Willow Grove is the picture of the mid-century American Dream, but when Bonnie Bennett’s husband is suddenly killed in a hit-and-run accident, she realizes just how miserable she’s been in her stifling domestic role. Reeling from her newfound sense of freedom, Bonnie connects with a group of fellow widows in the neighborhood, headed by the fierce and fearsome Cora Peterson. Bonnie soon realizes that the crash that killed her husband was no accident, and that Cora and the widows have a long tradition of identifying women in abusive, unhappy relationships and discretely disposing of their guilty husbands. What’s more, they want Bonnie to join their ranks: to free women from the monstrous men lurking behind closed suburban doors. WIDOWS is a new dark musical comedy about power structures, feminine rage, and vigilante justice, with stinging satire and a score that vacillates between the 1950s big-band, jazz world that we first encounter, and the femme fatale pop music that breaks it open, revealing its cracks and lies, and representing the widows’ autonomy and rising power…
